In 2009, when everyone was planning their weekends for malls and outings Chitra and Abhishek thought there was a space for a company that could offer full-fledged travel packages to travelers according to their needs and demands.
They were from middle-class backgrounds and they knew their family won't allow them to quit their well-paying jobs and start a business so they started a part-time business. In June 2009, they drummed up a seed capital of Rs 5 lakh from their savings. This amount was invested in building their website and hiring people to know the target customers. Then they start focusing on direct customers offering them a variety of tours through digital marketing.
BREAKTHROUGH
In November 2009, they were able to witness their first big client, Wipro from that time corporate clients became thrillophilia's focus segment.
In mid-2010, Abhishek alone managed the company as Chitra had to complete her studies. After some time, they again focused and the company started connecting with individual travelers without shifting focus from corporate clients. After the pandemic, It was difficult to grab tourists, at that time thrillophilia focuses on domestic tourists and started working on the targeted customers. Thrillophilia is working from 10 years and is not limited to Rajasthan, it has connections with around 50+ countries and domestic tourists from each area. In terms of Tourism, thrillophilia is the largest platform with the strongest competitors like make my trip. It is made through a lot of segments, firstly it initiated a basic structure and then came to domestic tourists and has now achieved success globally.
In 2011, Chitra and Abhishek tied the knot and joined thrillophilia completely.
THE MAGNETISM
LEH AND LADAKH, which is the most famous breathtaking landscapes, crystal clear skies, thrilling adventures, Buddhist Monasteries, and festivals career leading tourist destinations. Thrillophilia has created a record in providing the highest number of tourists in a year at LEH and LADAKH which itself is a great deal and it's the reason tourists connect through thrillophilia .
